Richmond Hill, Ontario – Global Educational Trust Foundation (the "Foundation") announced today that Global Growth Assets Inc. ("GGA) has been retained to act as administrator and investment fund manager of the Global Educational Trust Plan (the "Plan").  In this capacity, GGA will be responsible for directing the business, operations and affairs of the Plan effective September 28, 2010.

This change was effected by way of an Assignment and Assumption Agreement dated September 27, 2010 under which the Foundation transferred and assigned its rights, duties and obligations as investment fund manager of the Plan to GGA. GGA, an affiliate of the Foundation, currently acts as investment fund manager for the Global Iman Fund, an open-end mutual fund trust offered by simplified prospectus.

Despite this change, the Foundation will continue to act as promoter of the Plan and sign educational financial assistance agreements in respect of the Plan.  It is also expected that GGA will retain the Foundation from time to time to perform other administrative or ancillary services in respect of the Plan as agent for GGA.

The Plan is a savings plan which has been established for the purpose of providing educational financial assistance payments to students who attend post secondary programs of education. The Plan is a pooled individual education savings plan where funds held in trust are invested collectively and professionally managed. Units of the Plan are offered for sale under a prospectus dated August 27, 2010 (as amended) and sold by registered scholarship plan dealers.
