Harroop Singh Virk, their son, attends Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton. He is in his second year of a Bachelor of Commerce degree program. After learning about the Global Plan on a local Punjabi TV program, the Virk family decided to invest in the Global RESP plan for Harroop. With their great experiences with the Global Plan, they decided to add their two younger children on a plan which they will use for their future education funding.

A Global Plan allows students to take advantage of up to $9,200 in government grants, which is especially beneficial to families with more than one child planning on post-secondary education. Therefore, staying on track with regular savings can mean the difference between one or all siblings being able to afford post-secondary studies.
